Also referred to as Zhou's aunt, an elderly widow in her late fifties who was once able to earn seven or eight work points before getting sick. She is a martyr's family member—her husband died on the battlefield. She was kind to Lin Yue's original self, secretly giving her food even when she herself was struggling, and had made little hats for the children. Now she is being mistreated and starved by her son Zhang Shouyu and daughter-in-law, left emaciated and unable to speak on a dirty kang.
