She is narrow-minded and petty, feeling threatened by Cheng Yuanyue's designs overshadowing her own work. She falsely claims that Cheng's drafts were thrown in the trash and mocks her education level. When Director Guan reveals the truth, her face is publicly humiliated as it is her own rejected designs that were discarded, not Cheng's. She is jealous and fears Cheng will steal her credit.
