Female supporting character, Su Luyun's younger cousin who grew up with her. The famously well-praised good daughter-in-law of the neighborhood, gentle and frugal. She knew Su Luyun's true nature — sharp-tongued, selfish, greedy, willful and unreasonable. She was aware that Su Luyun had been exchanging flirtatious glances and developing feelings with a gambling-addicted man who returned from the countryside during those three lonely years. She never tried to stop her but put on an act publicly. She suspected Su Luyun's current attitude was part of some scheme.
