Su Luyun, a rising star in the entertainment industry, transmigrates into a web novel written by her malicious cousin. In the story, she becomes the cannon fodder ex-wife of Zhou Changdong, a military officer who was left in a vegetative state after a mission. The original plot casts Su Luyun as a gold-digging villainess who abandons her husband, only to regret it later when he recovers and becomes successful. Determined to avoid this fate, Su Luyun decides to rewrite her destiny by staying by Zhou Changdong's side and caring for him.
