Hu Qiangyong's wife, a widow before marrying him. She is envious and complains about the unequal distribution of supplies, feeling her husband deserves more despite Yu Xifeng doing most of the dangerous work. She is hostile toward Yu Xifeng and makes resentful remarks. She is controlled by Hu's mother, who firmly disciplines her.
