A young man with acne-scarred face and sharp, cold eyes. He is a cripple whose legs have rotted to the bone, covered by a blanket. He is referred to as Sheng-ge or Brother Sheng. He becomes enraged when his condition is exposed and attacks Su Mingjuan, later being drugged and taken to a hotel with her.
