Head coach for the Men's Singles division at the national team. A long-time national team coach who had struggled to produce outstanding results in men's singles until Jiu Sheng joined. Overjoyed to have Jiu Sheng. Led Jiu Sheng and Xu Zhou on a tour of national team facilities. Made the decision to include Jiu Sheng in the World Junior Championships roster.
