The director of the police station. He was initially complicit in helping Guo Gang detain Rong Mei, but after receiving numerous phone calls from the military region, municipal government office, and municipal public security bureau regarding Rong Mei, he panicked and rushed to stop the abuse. He quickly switched sides, apologizing profusely to Rong Mei and arresting Guo Gang instead. He is described as shrewd when not confused, good at reading people, and cautious about offending the wrong powerful individuals.
