A ten-year-old boy who lives near Yun Xi and is three years older than her. He used to be known to Yun Xi but she no longer remembers him due to her claimed amnesia. He chops firewood and often goes up the mountain. He is the first to warn Yun Xi about the forbidden back mountain, telling her it has been guarded for generations and that someone who secretly went there long ago never returned. He is nervous and cautious when discussing the forbidden area.
