A young noble from the powerful and wealthy Carnes family, banished to Ringtown under an assumed name. He was born unable to use magic despite his family's wealth. He became obsessed with magic and resorted to live sacrifice, which his family could no longer tolerate. He inherited the family's symbolic lapis lazuli blue eyes and was once likable as a child. Now in his fourth year in Ringtown, he is considered a lunatic by the townsfolk. His body is currently inhabited by Salar's consciousness.
