Protagonist, a scientist from Earth who witnessed Earth's destruction by a high-energy radiation wave. He was obsessed with the VR game Abyss since college. After Earth exploded, he reincarnated into the world of Abyss thirty years before the game's launch, taking the identity of Hanton, a third officer on a research ship.
