A battle-hardened warrior and the male lead, currently disguised under the borrowed identity of Li Feng (a guard who died in battle). He is the commander of the Shadow Army. After the Puyang battle and a subsequent ambush by the Crown Prince, he lost the use of both legs and uses crutches, though he can actually walk fine using a light body technique. He is tall, imposing, with sharp features and calloused hands. He initially ignored Shen Qingran but his patience was tested by the man's antics. He has a slightly improved impression of Shen Qingran after finding his room undisturbed. He is indifferent to imperial power struggles after his worldview was altered.
