The third son of the Xu grandparents and Miaozhen's third uncle. He runs the tea and snack shop that was converted from the family rice shop. He is described as slightly chubby with a ruddy face. He gave up on the imperial examinations after trying two or three times. He used one of the first branch's rooms in the family house to store flour and some molds, turning it into a storage room.
