Female protagonist, the Empress of Da Qi at age twenty in Chapter 1, later reborn to age ten in Chapter 2. Daughter of Xu Jingyuan (Marquis of Linjiang) and Empress Wen. She was raised in the palace by her aunt Empress Wen, betrothed to Emperor Chengqian (Zhou Heng), and invested as Crown Princess. After discovering her aunt was poisoned to death and her husband's betrayal, she stabbed Zhou Heng to death with a phoenix hairpin and set fire to Tiyuan Dian. She then reincarnated back to when she was ten years old, the year her mother died, and began asserting herself against the servants and conspirators in the Linjiang Houfu household.
