He appears tsundere—saying one thing but meaning another—and masks his genuine concern for Chuan Jin with sarcastic barbs and a displeased exterior. In reality, he has favored his second sister since childhood and felt hurt that she never loved him back. He had an epiphany about his family's son-preference and transformed from a bully into a tsundere. In the original story, with no one to discipline him, he became a gambling addict, turned to drugs, resorted to robbery, and was beaten to death in an alley by drug dealers.
