Lin Zhaozhao's mother-in-law, an old woman with triangular eyes and jutting cheekbones. Greedy, mean, sharp-tongued, and shameless. She and her son Li Zhong bullied Zhaozhao, stole her husband's pension money, and tried to take her jade pendant, causing Zhaozhao's head injury. Also referred to as Xu Juanzhi in the text. She favored her son Li Zhong over her daughter-in-law and was known for bullying villagers.
