A third-generation distant cousin of Xie Qian, only five years older than him. He was the only young member of the Xie family who fully supported Xie Qian during turbulent times. Xie Qian later handed him one of the family's film companies to manage, and under his leadership it became one of the industry's top players. He is Yue Yue's father and Shen Yao's husband.
