A character from the original storyline who had the opportunity and capability to resolve Jiayezi's transformation into Ju-on. He encountered Jiayezi during her last moment of consciousness before completely turning into an evil spirit, but was on the verge of emotional collapse after witnessing his wife's brutal murder. His failure to respond immediately and showing fear caused Jiayezi to completely lose her self-awareness.
