Ruyue's mother, originally a pediatrician at S City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a colleague of Grandma Ying. She married Ruyue's father after being set up by Grandma Ying. She resented her husband for caring more about work than family and missed a hospital promotion after having Ruyue. She transferred to L City without consulting her family and later divorced Ruyue's father. She rarely showed maternal warmth to Ruyue but was gentle with sick children at the hospital.
