Xia Zimu's father who is strict and physically abusive. He just finished playing chess at neighbor Old Zhao's house when he caught Xia Zimu sneaking around late at night. He slapped and kicked his son, disparaging him for returning home in less than a month and being unable to last without his living allowance. He told his wife to give their son a good lesson.
