Male, eldest son of Guo Yumei and brother of Xia Qingning. He is handsome despite wearing heavily patched clothes and looking dusty. His leg is disabled and he limps when he walks. He came to see Lu Jingzhe off when he left the village, at which time his leg was still intact. He calls Xia Qingning Xiaoning affectionately.
