Father of Lu Jingzhe and Lu Lidong. He is a returnee intellectual from overseas who was sent to the countryside for reform due to inappropriate remarks during the movement. He later married Su Hui and was rehabilitated, returning to the city with his family. He promised to repay the Xia family by arranging a marriage between his son Lu Lidong and the original owner.
