The deceased mother of Mianbao. She is referred to as a jinx to the Xia family and died without revealing the child's father. She was stubborn and refused to marry within the Xia family, leading to her ostracization. Her body is taken up the mountain for burial. Mianbao remembers her lovingly, tucking the quilt around her cold corpse and speaking to her as if she were alive.
