The protagonist, an 18-year-old high school student. He is tall and strong, known for fighting back against bullies. He lives with his grandmother in a rundown country house in Unil-dong with a herbal medicine shop. His mother disappeared when he was young, taking most of the compensation money. He has no father. He is somewhat immune to rumors and gossip. He met Go Tae-seong when he was about ten years old and they became the first friends he ever had. He has a resilient and somewhat gruff personality but shows a softer side around Tae-seong.
