A military officer under the Governor of Wugong who looked down on famous generals like Duan Yunfeng and Han Hu. He believed his military talents were equal to those of Emperor Taizong and felt he had never been given a proper opportunity to display his abilities. He developed a military strategy using ox-drawn chariots to counter the northern cavalry. The Governor of Wugong entrusted him with 10,000 soldiers. His chariot formation was destroyed by fire arrows from Duan Yunfeng, and he was captured in less than an incense's time.
