Yu Zhao's uncle on her mother's side, a resident of Chang'an and a member of the Wang family. He initially appeared cold toward Shen's father but was visibly emotional when meeting Yu Zhao. He took Yu Zhao into his home after her father's death, changed her surname from Shen to Wang, and provided for her generously. He lives in the Wang family mansion where Yu Zhao resided in the Huanshui Pavilion. He is now frequently absent due to his busy government duties.
