Wang Genzi is a strong man in the village. He comes forward along with Sun Daqiang to press Er Gouzi onto a long bench and strike him with a stick as punishment for bullying Lin Nian and Jiang Youmei. He is portrayed as a righteous man who helps enforce justice in the village.
