A male character who dines with Mingtang at the beginning of the chapter. He is traveling to Yanqi for study and expresses interest in learning to make Jiangnan dishes like soup and steamed eggs. Mingtang internally refers to him as 'Uncle' and notes he was born to be an exchange student.
