An antagonist, a thin middle-aged man who leads a group of hostile strangers at the spring. He demands food or silver in exchange for water access, speaking with a seemingly friendly but actually threatening tone. He is one of six pursuers who chase Fang Shigu's group after they refuse to trade and flee.
