A vet at a nearby veterinary clinic who examined the kitten Shen Hanyin brought in. He determined the kitten was weak and malnourished but otherwise healthy, and probably not intentionally abandoned. He warned her that raising such a young kitten alone would be difficult and gave her an endless list of precautions and care instructions.
