Four university dormitory students, none from the same department as Shen Hanyin. After learning about her parents' tragedy, they became cautious and careful around her, constantly afraid of saying something that might remind her of painful memories. Their obvious restraint made interactions exhausting, and eventually Shen Hanyin subtly distanced herself, settling into a lukewarm relationship.
