A twelve or thirteen-year-old boy who sells oranges on shoulder poles at a train station platform. He is smart and friendly, offering Bai Yan a free orange to try. He helps peel the orange for her since her hands are handcuffed. He also gives Bai Yan a handful of winter dates before leaving.
