Transmigrated to the 80s, I Accidentally Flirt With the Villain

In the original story, Meng Hechuan is a villain who steals aviation data and is eventually imprisoned, causing the original Bai Yan to die of illness in jail. Determined to avoid him, Bai Yan instead uses her modern knowledge to negotiate a temporary alliance, claiming she can translate the confidential aircraft blueprints Meng Hechuan is carrying.

Meng Hechuan, suspicious of her identity and fearing she may be an enemy spy, handcuffs her to him and forces her to translate the documents during the train journey. Bai Yan proves her worth by accurately interpreting the technical drawings, which contain critical information for China's domestic aircraft development. Their journey is complicated by the arrival of Ruan Xiaohui, a scheming girl who claims to be the one who saved Meng Hechuan when he was temporarily blinded after falling from a cliff. Ruan Xiaohui steals Meng Hechuan's epaulette from Bai Yan to bolster her false claim, creating a love triangle of deception. Meanwhile, human traffickers target Bai Yan again, but Meng Hechuan rescues her, further blurring the lines between suspicion and protection.

Upon arriving in Jingzhou, the group is escorted to the aerospace compound. Meng Hechuan presents the translated blueprints to his superiors, who are impressed by the accuracy and depth of the work. The political commissar, Lu Zhenhua, interviews Bai Yan directly. She maintains her cover as an ordinary high school student with self-taught English skills, hiding her true origin as a time traveler. Despite Meng Hechuan's lingering doubts about her identity and the conflicting evidence regarding who saved him in the mountains, Bai Yan's competence and calm demeanor begin to earn his reluctant trust. The story concludes with Bai Yan integrated into the aerospace team's orbit, no longer a victim of her predetermined fate but a key player in Meng Hechuan's professional and personal life, as the villainous trajectory of the original novel begins to diverge.
