One of two Buddhist monks who arrive after Jiang Qi drains the ghostly energy from the underground river. He is more cautious and deliberate, advising his junior brother not to be so impatient. He helps capture over a hundred water ghosts and discusses setting up a formation to send the area back to the living world. He follows 'that benefactor' (Jiang Qi) and believes it was the right choice.
