She led the neighborhood women in gossiping about the third son, calling him wolf-hearted and dog-lunged, and spreading news of his disgraceful actions throughout the community. She mockingly asked the third son if he was going to the hospital and spat behind his back. Her gossip caused his reputation to spread throughout the factory as well.
