An elderly man at Times Square who bumped into Shen Hanyin, then walked straight to the front of a line cutting ahead of a young woman. When dragged back, he sat on the ground crying and shouting murder. He grabbed the military officer's sleeve and continued his performance. When told to get in line, he pressed his forehead against the gun barrel and continued forward. The officer shot him dead. His body collapsed onto the frozen ground, shocking the entire square.
