The late wife of Lin Youwen and mother of Lin Shuyun. She died in childbirth when Lin Shuyun was thirteen, along with her baby. Her family, the Tang family, provided the wealth that built the Lin family fortune. Lin Youwen seized all Tang family assets after her death and that of Mr. Tang.
