A late Qing-era overseas student who returned to China and taught at a university. After political turmoil, he fled to Hong Kong with his family. In Hong Kong, he continued teaching and became acquainted with many influential people, helping quite a few of them. His connections are now being used to settle accounts with the Tang family.
