Male minor character. Lin Cuizhi's husband, ten years older than her. Described as lazy and greedy; he lies around at home every day refusing to gather wild vegetables even during the famine. He lets Cuizhi struggle alone to feed him and their three children. Cuizhi began selling her body to keep the children from starving.
