Su Jinyan's father. In the original book, he was depressed because of a divorce and later ruined his health, living an unhappy life. He was shocked when Su Jinyan revealed she had married and had two children. He had worried she would randomly marry someone in the village. He ultimately accepted the situation since they were already married with children.
