Male supporting character, Su Jinyan's husband. A devoted, quick-witted man who worked as a strong laborer in the countryside. He got into medical college with Su Jinyan's tutoring despite only having a junior high education. He has spent four years caring for Su Jinyan and their children, borrowing money for her travel expenses. He is deeply in love with her and hopes she will not abandon him.
