Also known as Daoist Yuan Tong, he is the Grand Preceptor of the Great Sheng Dynasty who practices cultivation at Qingyun Temple. He cannot explain or reverse the body swap between Xue Wanyao and Gu Zhuo, attributing it to the will of heaven. He mentions that the two share the same birth characters and that sudden thunder on a clear day may have caused the exchange.
