A woman in her thirties who was previously known as Wu Dasao in the village. She has a tragic backstory: sold by her stepbrother as a child, abused by her first husband's mother who caused her to lose her baby, then sold again to a second husband whose father and son abused her causing another miscarriage. She is strong-willed, brave, and encourages other women to hope for a better future.
