Shuoyan (also spelled Shuo Yan) is a first-year student in Mecha Department Class 1. He arrives at the training ground and sits next to Ke Yunyao, greeting Kevin. He is calm about the evaluation, understanding that his S-rank weapon cannot compare to SS or SSS-ranked classmates, so he expects to be in a later batch. He forged a large battle axe with elemental runes inscribed, giving it a metal attribute. During the testing, his weapon achieved S-rank and an attack amplification of 384%, the highest in his batch. Shuoyan struggles to suppress his grin upon seeing the results, which Ke Yunyao notices from the audience. He is depicted as proud yet composed, aware of the audience's watching. His performance contributes to the overall success of Class 1's evaluations.
