Eldest brother of the Shen family. He ran a shop that barely supported the family. He had previously meddled with military grain and was covered by Second Brother. He brought a handkerchief-wrapped gold bracelet (one tael) to Old Madam Shen and was warned not to cause more trouble or he would be disowned.
