Also known as Shen Meiren, a woman from the Shen family of Jiangnan. She is the cousin of the current Wuzhou Zhifu. The Emperor brought her back from Wuzhou and she entered the palace directly with the rank of Meiren, bypassing the grand selection. She appeared in a rouge-colored floral ruqun with a gold-and-kingfisher-feather hairpin, with a face resembling a newly bloomed peach blossom and clear bright eyes.
