The male protagonist, known as the Iron-Blooded King of the Lin Dynasty. He is the younger brother of the current Emperor. He established the Hall of Law Enforcement. In his past life, he was humiliated by Mu Nanyin who used disgraceful tactics to annul their engagement, and he eventually died by suicide with a dagger. He was imprisoned by the Emperor due to conspiracy by Mu Nanyin and Shen Sichen. In the present timeline after Mu Nanyin's rebirth, he appears at the prison to save her, weeping and apologizing for coming too late.
