Also known as Fang Jianwei. A secretary from the Municipal Committee who was sent by Secretary Feng to investigate the arrest of the Su family. He confronted Wang Xinzhou about the banned book evidence which turned out to be a primary school pinyin book. He helped secure the release of Old Mr. and Mrs. Su. He mentioned that Secretary Feng asked him to look out for Secretary Gu.
