A tall, youthful man dressed as a scholar who buys five packs of orange soft candy and two bowls of taro paste dumplings from Liu Guyu. He is recognized by Liu Guyu as the young owner from the Xie family's fabric shop. He is well-built with a wheat-colored complexion, more like an athlete than a typical scholar.
