An elderly man in his seventies, the patriarch of the Qin family who retired early from the company. He lives alone in a villa at the foot of the mountain. He is described as stern-looking and intimidating. Qin Zhaoning has little impression of him. He tried to bond with his grandchildren, particularly spending time chatting with Qin Jiayu, and attempted to guilt Qin Zhaoning into staying longer during her visit.
